Our Tool Design Team has generations of experience in every aspect of complex, precision tool design and fabrication. We utilize a Design Process, which includes virtual mold simulation to evaluate and optimize processes and molds, increasing efficiency, productivity and part quality, thereby, providing a high degree of confidence prior to design release. In addition, we collaborate with your design team to perform Design For Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) prior to starting tool manufacture.

Our experienced toolmakers build high-quality, reliable, tight tolerance tools, verifying fit and finish throughout the process. By building the majority of tools in-house, on the latest mold manufacturing equipment and processes, we can assure delivery of the Schnipke Advantage.

Mold Design and Fabrication are one step in our New Product Development process. Our New Product Development organization covers the entire project lifecycle; from proposal development, to delivery of a validated system, to our Production floor.

The 3D simulation capability optimizes tool design, runner location and gating system, the filling behavior, packing, cooling and solidification, thereby knowing the part molding behavior and influencing tool design.

Schnipke is constantly updating machinery to incorporate the latest proven technology that has a bottom-line impact on customer projects. We build the majority of customers’ tools in-house and have an experienced team of mold makers and engineers dedicated to developing tools to meet our customers’ requirements.

The tools constructed by Schnipke range from precision multi-cavity molds and over-molding to single cavity molds.
